Here’s an interesting bit of news from Ocean Independence: The 88-foot Tecnomar motoryacht Andea is going to be based in Southern Italy this summer, offering charters out of Palermo with itineraries that can include Sicily and the Aeolian Islands.
Andea is a 2008 build that accommodates as many as nine guests in four staterooms. The master, VIP, and one guest cabin are double berths while the fourth cabin has twin beds plus a bunk-style Pullman berth (ideal for children).
Itineraries can be ambitious aboard Andea, which has a cruising speed of 24 knots and a top speed of 34 knots. Her lowest weekly base rate is €35,000, and keep in mind that if you want to cruise in Southern Italy, she is one of the few yachts available there without additional relocation fees from more popular homeports in the South of France and northern Italy.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Andea or help you book a week onboard this summer out of Palermo.
