Here’s a good one from 37 South: The 111-foot Kingship motoryacht Relentless will charter in French Polynesia this winter. The owner is making her available in Tahiti, Bora Bora and the rest of the Society Islands, as well as farther afield in the Tuamotus archipelago, from December through February.
Relentless joined the charter fleet this past April. She is a Ward Setzer design whose owner plans to pick up on regional charters where the 115-foot McMullen and Wing motoryacht Koi (previously Surprise) left off. That yacht established a solid reputation for South Pacific charters that combined local knowledge and crew with international-caliber service and cuisine. I was on board Surprise in Fiji in 2004 during one of two trips I made to the region aboard yachts offered for charter there. Her program was a standout, with an exceptional depth of local knowledge. If Relentless does the same, she should become an excellent charter option as well.
Relentless was built in 2006 and refit in 2013. She accommodates eight guests. Some of her noteworthy features include a top-deck hot tub, an Innovision 616 explorer tender for diving and water sports, and a shallow draft on the yacht herself, which means easier access to most beaches and bays.
The weekly base rate is $85,000 to charter Relentless in French Polynesia through February 2016. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week on board.
