There’s more news this week from Northrop and Johnson, whose motoryachts are giving some noteworthy discounts right now in various destinations. On Monday, I told you about the 145-foot Benetti Checkmate, which is offering a 25-percent price break in the Bahamas. Now comes word that the 197-foot Abeking + Rasmussen Dream is offering a deal in the Caribbean, while the 163-foot ISA Liberty is promoting an incentive rate in the Maldives.
Dream‘s regular weekly base rate is $425,000 in the Caribbean. She’s now being offered at $415,000 for charters during the rest of January, as well as between February 19 and March 19. Dream, formerly known as Excellence III, recently completed a major refit and was among the most talked-about yachts at last month’s Antigua Charter Yacht Show. She looked fantastic, with a refreshed interior decor and a stern extension.
Liberty usually charters at a weekly base rate of €275,000 and is now being offered at €230,000 for the rest of the winter season. That’s a savings of about 15 percent. I was on board Liberty in May 2012 when she was in Italy, and I liked her quite a bit. Her interior decor is eclectic and unusual, but also comfortable and memorable as a vacation environment.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Checkmate, Dream, or Liberty, or help you book a week onboard at their newly announced discount rates in the Bahamas, Caribbean, or Maldives.
