Here’s a destination I don’t see very often: Worth Avenue Yachts tells me the 164-foot Trinity motoryacht Amarula Sun is now based in the Dominican Republic, where she is open for charters out of Casa de Campo.
Amarula Sun is a 2008 build that accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms. Four of the five staterooms have king-size beds, making her a good option for groups of adult couples as well as for families with children. The master stateroom is an impressive split-level design with panoramic views over the yacht’s bow.
As you can see in the photograph, her water toys include an inflatable slide. There’s also a 32-foot Everglades tender for snorkeling, fishing and gunkholing, a 21-foot Brigs tender for day trips with a great sound system and underwater lights, a pair of Yamaha Wave Runners, a pair of Sea-Doos, two Seabobs and a JetLev. (This yacht owner knows how to have go-fast fun.)
The lowest weekly base rate is $220,000 to charter Amarula Sun out of Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic, this winter. For summer 2015, she is expected to return to Florida and the Bahamas.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week on board.
