Yachting Partners International sends word that the 239-foot Dunya-Ursa motoryacht Red Square has been sold to a new owner and rechristened Axioma–a name that charter-savvy readers may remember as having belonged to a 155-foot ISA motoryacht that was built in 2006 and entered the charter market in earnest in 2008.
The new Axioma is obviously a massive step up for the owner (and any charter guests) thanks to her sheer size. She is a brand-new build out of Turkey for 2013 that accommodates 12 guests in six staterooms. The interior decor is said to resemble a luxury beach house, with extensive use of natural woodwork.
Amenities include an infinity pool on the main deck, alfresco dining on the upper deck, an outdoor hot tub, an onboard cinema, an onboard gymnasium, an elevator, zero-speed stabilizers, and a helipad. Also worth noting is that the main salon is impressive for parties, with a double-height ceiling.
YPI tells me that the weekly base rate to charter Axioma will be €525,000, and that her first charter availability will be in the Caribbean from mid-January through the end of February 2014.
It is worth noting that the smaller Axioma also cruised popular locales such as the Caribbean and Mediterranean while sometimes offering charters farther afield, from Croatia to Thailand. Here’s hoping that the owner will want to take the new superyacht to even more interesting destinations for charter in the years to come.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Axioma or help you become one of the first guests to charter her this winter.
