Word just came in from U.K.-based Sunseeker Charters, which reports that its recent appearance at the London International Boat Show resulted in several booking requests from new and repeat charter clients alike.
The requests were for some of the largest motoryachts on display, including the 30-, 34-, and 37-meter models. In addition, the company premiered its new flagship, the Sunseeker 88 Yacht.
“We have been delighted with the feedback from the show,” said David Ward, Director of Sunseeker Charters. “In particular, the 88 Yacht for the U.K. has created quite a stir. One of our regular clients got in touch directly after the show saying they couldn’t wait to charter it! This is the optimistic start to 2010 that we had hoped for.”
I look forward to checking in with Ward and his team at the Miami International Boat Show next month, to see whether the early bookings trend for 2010 continues. Fingers crossed.
