Nicholson Yachts sends word of an interesting charter option this summer: The 112-foot Valdettaro sailing yacht Ree has availability in Scandinavia.
The current plan is for Ree to to offer itineraries that begin in Wasahamnen, in the center of Stockholm, Sweden. From there, she will cruise to the Island of Sandhog, then to Fejan in the northern archipelago, then to Mariehamn in Finland’s Aland Islands before returning to Stockholm. Itineraries can of course be altered to suit guest preferences, including options for multiweek bookings.
Ree is a 1996 build that originally launched as Parsifal II, and that most recently was refit in 2011, in a substantial overhaul that cost about $2.5 million. She was designed specifically for charter flexibility. Ree accommodates 10 guests in a king-bed master suite as well as four guest staterooms that can be arranged as kings or twins, depending on whether the charter party includes couples or singles and children.
Also noteworthy is that Ree is a recent winner of the CYBA Save the Blue Award, which honors charter yachts that are doing a good job of offering eco-friendly services on board.
The lowest weekly base rate will be €49,950 to charter free in Scandinavia this summer. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week on board.
