I’ve just received the booking calendar for the Athens Yachts fleet, and there’s still a good bit of availability aboard well-known charter yachts throughout the Greek Isles this summer.
For instance, the 140-foot AB Yachts motoryacht My Toy is still open for the whole months of June and September. The 138-foot Baglietto motoryacht Geosand (shown at right) has select weeks still available in July and August, as well as the whole month of September. The 131-foot Swan sailing yacht Aristarchos, the 112-foot Tecnomar motoryacht Saint and the 107-foot Admiral motoryacht Summer Dreams have virtually wide-open booking calendars for the whole of the summer.
It’s noteworthy that these kinds of opportunities remain as we are heading into the start of April this week, and may indicate that recent news events surrounding immigration challenges in the East Mediterranean are having a dampening effect on early bookings for charter yachts in that region. I think it’s still a bit too early to say that for sure, but certainly it’s one likely possibility.
The good news for charter clients interested in seeing the Greek Isles is that if demand is a bit slower than usual heading into the summer season, there should be some great opportunities to negotiate deals and incentives.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about any of these yachts or help you book a Greece yacht charter this summer.
