Now comes word that the owner is expanding that availability, as well as waiving all repositioning fees for Sicily yacht charter between June 10 and August 10.
While plenty of charter yachts are available in the northern part of Italy each summer, it’s unusual to find more than a handful down in the southern waters near Sicily, and especially not for several months at a time.
Libertus is taking bookings there at a lowest weekly base rate of €28,000 for 10 to 12 guests. During charter dates in July and August, that weekly base rate rises to €32,000.
Libertus is a 1975 build most recently refitted in 2015, when work included new carpeting, an upgraded audiovisual system and a host of mechanical and navigational upgrades. Neo Yachting markets her as ideal for family charters based on her layout, and on the fact that her steel hull provides a steady cruising motion that’s hard to find aboard more modern builds.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Libertus or help you book her in Sicily with no repositioning fees between June 10 and August 10 this summer.
