From January 5-31, the yacht’s weekly base rate is dropping from $150,000 to $110,000. The only catch is that you have to book at least seven days on board.
Highlander accommodates 12 guests in seven staterooms. The yacht entered the charter market in 2014 with a great deal of publicity. She originally was built as The Highlander in 1986 for media titan Malcolm Forbes, who used her to entertain movie stars such as Robert De Niro and world leaders including Margaret Thatcher. The yacht not only had traditional staterooms and guest areas but also boasted conference rooms for events.
The new owners added 12 feet to Highlander‘s stern, allowing her transom to have a more traditional look with better access to the water. The sundeck also was extended, and the main deck is now focused on guest relaxation. Zero-speed stabilizers were added along with a new sound and video system, and more, to bring the yacht up to date for charter.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Highlander or help you book her during January at the newly announced incentive rate.
