Regency Vacations sends word this morning that a popular sailing catamaran in the Virgin Islands is offering a new discount of about 20 percent.
The 57-foot Aldebaran has a regular weekly base rate of $17,495 to $18,495 for four to six guests. Now, the yacht is being offered at a weekly base rate of $13,000 to $15,000 for the same number of guests.
Aldebaran‘s new rates are good for any charters in the Virgin Islands during January, February, or March. That’s a big discount during prime cruising months aboard a yacht with a strong chartering record.
I was last onboard Aldebaran back in 2006, but a broker I have long respected mentioned the yacht to me earlier this month at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show. I asked June Montagne of Northrop and Johnson what she thought the best boats are right now in the Virgin Islands, and she immediately thought of Aldebaran. She said the yacht looks great and the crew are absolutely fabulous. That’s a wonderful endorsement, as far as I’m concerned.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Aldebaran or help you book her during the next few months at the newly announced discount rate.
