Edmiston sends word that the 159-foot Botje Ensign motoryacht Menorca is giving a 15 percent discount on bookings during June and September in the West Mediterranean (including Spain’s Balearic Isles).
With the discount, the weekly base rate drops to €79,000 for 12 guests in seven staterooms.
Built in 1961, Menorca has undergone a substantial refit that ended in 2017, giving her a Hamptons-style interior decor, modern onboard systems and more.
Menorca was on display at the 2017 MYBA Charter Show in Barcelona, Spain, where she showed quite well. I spent some time aboard chatting with the captain, and everywhere I looked was in beautiful condition. The main salon, in particular, is now a sparkling relaxation space, with oversized windows installed all along the port and starboard sides, a contemporary staircase as an artistic focal point forward, and a classic baby grand piano aft, lending a romantic touch.
I also thought the open-air cinema was a great modern detail, allowing charter guests the chance to watch films on a big screen without having a huge flat-screen television that could seem out of place on a build of Menorca‘s vintage and style.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week on board at the newly announced incentive rate.
