Ocean Independence has just welcomed the 110-foot Yachting Developments sailing yacht Silvertip to the charter fleet, with availability in the popular South Pacific destinations Fiji and Vanuatu from June through August. After that, she is expected to be available for charter in New Zealand.
Silvertip is a top-pedigree sailing yacht, launched in 2001 with naval architecture and exterior design by Dubois, and interior decor featuring Swedish pearwood by Agnes Comar. She was built for an experienced yachtsman who applied all he knew about onboard comfort and performance to his new yacht’s design brief. Within a year of splashing, Silvertip had won two awards for being the best new sailing yacht in her class, on all the world’s waters.
Silvertip accommodates as many as seven guests in three staterooms. Her layout is great for families, with a large master stateroom, a double stateroom for adult friends or an older child, and a twin-bed stateroom with bunk-style Pullman berth for the children.
Among the newer amenities aboard Silvertip is an upgraded audiovisual system that the owner recently installed.
The lowest weekly base rate is $55,000 to charter Silvertip in Fiji or Vanuatu from June through August. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week on board.
