Yacht-Zoo sends word that the 173-foot Alloy sailing yacht Drumbeat will have availability this winter in New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Drumbeat is currently in Vanuatu. She’s scheduled to leave there this weekend, bound for New Zealand, where she will be in the shipyard through mid-December preparing for a circumnavigation. That world cruise will begin in New Zealand, where Drumbeat will be available for charter through March. After that, she will move to Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, and French Polynesia, with charter availability in all island locations.
Drumbeat is a 2002 build that was most recently refit in 2010. She accommodates 10 or 11 guests in five staterooms, depending on whether you want to use the bunk-style Pullman berth.
I was last on board Drumbeat back in 2007, just after she got a new owner who did an interior refit. It included widening the twin beds in two of the guest cabins, so that they, like the queen-and king-bed cabins, are comfortable for adults.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Drumbeat or help you book a week onboard during 2013 in the various island groups of the South Pacific.
