The Abeking and Rasmussen shipyard in Germany has launched RoMEA, a 268-foot superyacht that will enter the charter fleet with Imperial Yachts. Noted designer Terence Disdale handled both interior and exterior design (including in the upper salon, which is shown in the photograph at right).
RoMEA is built to accommodate an owner’s party of 14, with a full-beam master suite plus six additional guest staterooms. For charter, she will take 12 guests total in their choice of all seven staterooms.
Onboard amenities include a main-deck salon cinema plus an outdoor cinema on the bridge deck, a spa room and a water-level beach club with sauna. There are 23 crew on board.
The weekly base rate to charter RoMEA will be €875,000 (about $980,000 at today’s conversion rate), making her one of the highest-priced yachts available for charter anywhere in the world. Her summer destination is currently listed as West Mediterranean, with further information yet to be released about where she will operate this winter.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about RoMEA or help you become one of the first clients in the world to book a charter on board.
