Here’s how Ocean Independence describes the yacht:
“Archelon has a very well-conceived layout. Walking forward on deck from the helm stations to the steps down to the cockpit alfresco dining area, forward into the upper saloon, lower saloon, then the snug, gives multiple relaxing and entertaining spaces. For a performance sailing yacht, the internal volume is surprisingly spacious with a full-beam master stateroom aft, four versatile convertible guest staterooms offering five double [berths] in total, if required. On the foredeck is a recessed area for the guest tender, ensuring her elegant lines are maintained whilst sailing with the tender on board (when unable to tow). When the tender is in the water, this area can house either an inflatable Jacuzzi or a soft area filled with four Fatboy beanbags.”
Archelon is expected to be in the Caribbean this winter, taking 12 guests and chartering with six crew. The lowest weekly base rate is $90,000.
