Ocean Independence has just welcomed the 130-foot Mangusta motoryacht Incognito to the charter fleet in the Bahamas. According to the management company, Incognito is a yacht “whose owner and crew have specifically geared up for charter and are continuously looking for opportunities to impress guests.”
Incognito is a 2005 build whose design and outfitting are a good fit for the Bahamas. The yacht has jet-drive engines, which are physically closer to the yacht’s hull than traditional engines. This “shallow draft” design means that Incognito can get closer to the Bahamas beaches and reefs than other motoryachts of similar size (whose engines hang lower, impeding access in shallow waters). For charter clients, this propulsion system means the yacht can anchor closer to the islands for top-notch views, and for shorter tender rides between the yacht and the water-sports fun ashore and on reefs.
And speaking of water sports, Incognito comes with a 28-foot tender, which is a must-have for Bahamas charters filled with snorkeling, beach trips and the like.
Incognito accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms. In addition to the master, there are three queen-bed staterooms for guests, along with a twin-berth stateroom for kids.
The lowest weekly base rate will be $87,500 to charter Incognito this winter in the Bahamas. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week on board.
