Several charter companies have sent word that yachts in their fleets are still available for Christmas and New Year’s charters.
CharterWorld says that the 78-foot Baltic sailing yacht Lupa of London, which previously was booked for the holidays, has had a cancellation and is once again available for the holidays in the Caribbean. She is a 2000 build that was most recently refit in 2011, and that accommodates six guests in three cabins. There are three crew onboard. The lowest weekly base rate is €27,000.
Another yacht that was booked for the holidays, and that has now had a cancellation, is the 140-foot custom motoryacht Just Enough. Ocean Independence says Just Enough is available in the Virgin Islands. Just Enough accommodates 10 or 11 guests in five cabins, and there are seven crew onboard. The lowest weekly base rate is $135,000.
Sunreef Yachts Charter sends word that the 70-foot powercatamaran Abuelo is available for Christmas in the Caribbean. She is a 2010 build that accommodates 10 guests in five cabins. She’s also a real head-turner with an unusual, bright-red hull that is most appropriate for Christmas festivities.
Last, Peter Kehoe and Associates has two motoryachts available for charter in Florida or the Bahamas during Christmas and New Year’s. The 80-foot Lazzara Hail Mary has a weekly base rate of $27,500 for six guests in three cabins, while the 95-foot Broward Golden Rule has a weekly base rate of $23,000 for six guests in three cabins.
