Ever dreamed of booking a yacht charter in Fiji, French Polynesia or New Caledonia?
Well, now’s your chance. Yachting Partners International tells me the 108-foot Jachtwerf Klaassen BV sailing yacht Shamoun is accepting inquiries for all three destinations. The weekly base rate is $61,800 for as many as nine guests in four staterooms.
Shamoun has been chartering in exotic locales for a number of years. In 2014, she was available in Indonesia. Prior to that, she chartered in the highly competitive Caribbean market. All of that history points toward a great charter experience for guests in even the most remote South Pacific locales.
Shamoun is a 1999 build that underwent her last major refit in 2008. Her interior is traditional with warm woodwork, light fabrics and white overheads. Four guest staterooms have double beds, and two of those cabins can convert to twin-bed setups if it’s better for the charter party.
Her water toys (when last I saw the itemized list) include scuba and snorkeling gear, standup paddleboards, water skis, wakeboards and fishing equipment. If they don’t have it on board, the crew can rent it and provide instruction; Capt. David Roberts, who has been aboard for a number of years, is well-trained in surfing and kitesurfing, for instance.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Shamoun or help you book her in the South Pacific.
