Highlander entered the charter market in 2014, with new ownership. She originally was built as The Highlander in 1986 for media titan Malcolm Forbes, who used her to entertain movie stars such as Robert De Niro and world leaders including Margaret Thatcher. The yacht not only had traditional staterooms and guest areas but also boasted conference rooms for events.
The new owners added 12 feet to Highlander‘s stern, allowing her transom to have a more traditional look with better access to the water. The sundeck also was extended, and the main deck is now focused on guest relaxation. Zero-speed stabilizers were added along with a new sound and video system, and more, to bring the yacht up to date for charter.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Highlander or help you book her out of Venice starting August 17 with the incentive rates.
