Churchill Yacht Partners, a longtime sponsor here on CharterWave, has added to its yacht-charter team.
Randi Myers has joined the Fort Lauderdale office as a charter manager, coming from positions that focused on marketing and charter at the Florida Yacht Brokers Association (now IYBA), Fraser and Worth Avenue Yachts.
“I have a really well-rounded idea of how things work,” Myers says. “I like the organizational aspect of the management side, having your fleet that you market and manage. I want to work with the captains to make every charter as successful as it can be.”
Myers will be working alongside fellow Churchill managers Lara-Jo Houghting and Kaisa Pace, both of whom remain with the company. Myers hopes to focus on yachts as big as 150 feet length overall that operate in the Bahamas and Caribbean.
“I feel that size range is more family-friendly,” she says. “People just getting into charter, it’s a good starting point, and there’s room to grow if they want to go bigger. These boats have four, five or six staterooms, they’re good with small children, the crew are familiar with chartering with families.”
Helping yacht owners develop successful charter operations, and helping families make the most of their vacation time, are Myers’ primary goals.
“When I think of charter, I think it’s about creating experiences for the families that are chartering these boats,” she says. “It’s that nice, one-of-a-kind, never-going-to-forget-this experience.”
