Churchill Yacht Partners tells me that three of the motoryachts in its fleet are currently available for Thanksgiving holiday charters.
First is the 161-foot Trinity Destination Fox Harb’r Too, which is one of my all-time favorite megayachts in the industry. I was aboard her in 2009 during the summer season in Nova Scotia, and her Patrick Knowles interior combined with her split-level master suite design and excellent crew service left me highly impressed. At a weekly base rate of $230,000 for 10 or 11 guests, everything had better be perfect, and DFHT was indeed impressive. Her Thanksgiving availability this November is in the Bahamas (after which she will be in Barbados for the winter months).
Second is the 130-foot Christensen Sweet Escape, also a winner in my book when it comes to midrange motoryacht charters. I most recently cruised aboard her in 2012 in the Virgin Islands, and she proved an outstanding yacht for families with kids. She’s comfortable on board, she has lots of water toys and the crew are young and energetic. I was on board with Capt. Paulo Guedes and chef Lizzie Hall, who, as of earlier this year, are rotating duties with another captain-and-chef team. Hall is an excellent chef, and I have no doubt she could put together the Thanksgiving feast of a lifetime (with excellent wine pairings, to boot). Sweet Escape is available for Thanksgiving in the Caribbean at a lowest weekly base rate of $95,000.
Third is the 115-foot Benetti Camarina Royale, which is a recent addition to the Churchill fleet (that’s her in the photograph above). I haven’t yet seen her in person, but she’s a 2001 build that most recently was refit in 2012. She is advertised for 10 guests in five staterooms including a king-bed master, two queen-bed guest cabins and a pair of twin-bed cabins, each with a bunk-style Pullman berth. Her toys include a 28-foot Buddy Davis towed tender, two SeaDoos, fishing gear, snorkeling gear and tow toys. On board, charter guests can enjoy a Kaleidescape entertainment system as well as a sundeck hot tub. Camarina Royale is available for Thanksgiving in the Bahamas at a lowest weekly base rate of $79,000.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about these three yachts or help you book them during the Thanksgiving holiday this November.
