Ocean Independence tells me the 116-foot Horizon motoryacht Wheels has a calendar gap to fill August 22-31. The regular weekly base rate for August is €76,500, but the company is encouraging clients to “bring offers” because the yacht’s owner is keen to get something booked.
The only stipulation is that the charter begin in the South of France and end at Naples, Italy, so the crew can coordinate with other charters that are already scheduled.
About a year ago, the owner of Wheels was willing to give a 30-percent discount for charters of 10 days or longer in the Mediterranean.
Wheels is a 2002 build that accommodates 10 guests. I was on board Wheels about four years ago in Italy, where the yacht showed quite well. She has an elegant interior decor for a motoryacht her size, done by Evan K. Marshall, who typically works aboard much larger megayachts. The owner was continuing to maintain the yacht and add new features to entice charter clients, including an iMerge entertainment system. Wheels also offers zero-speed stabilizers, which can be hard to find aboard charter yachts in her size range.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Wheels or help you book her at the end of August from the South of France to Italy.
