Northrop and Johnson tells me that time is running out to score a deal on the weekly base rate for charters aboard the 164-foot Trinity motoryacht Amarula Sun.
If you book before May 31, the weekly base rate drops from $230,000 to $195,000. Your actual charter dates can be anytime during the rest of 2016, with the exception of holidays such as Christmas. The charter location is Florida and the Bahamas.
I was most recently aboard Amarula Sun in December, when she was at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show. You may remember her by her previous name, Mine Games. Her decor (elegant if not ornate) remains the same as under the previous ownership, but her current owner has invested nearly $500,000 in an array of audiovisual technology that includes several 75-inch ultra-high-definition, 4K televisions. Capt. Albert Rodriguez told me the owner wanted the biggest screens and highest possible resolutions everywhere on the yacht–which means Amarula Sun, while seven years old, has one of the most impressive audiovisual systems in the global charter fleet.
The big screen was on in the sky lounge as I sat on one of the sofas there. It was a channel turned to a live soccer match. I felt like I was on the field, the imagery coming out of that screen was so lifelike.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Amarula Sun or help you book a charter before May 31 to receive the incentive rate.
