Louis Vuitton Qualifier racing began on Saturday for the 35th America’s Cup, which is being held in Bermuda. It was an exciting start, with Britain’s Land Rover BAR and SoftBank Team Japan crashing at speed, leaving the British team’s catamaran with a gaping hole that needed to be repaired as the qualifier rounds of racing continued.
Spectator yachts with VIP Flags had an up-close seat for the spectacle, and there’s still time to charter a yacht with a VIP flag for more of the qualifier racing as well as the main-event America’s Cup racing.
Nicholson Yachts says the 108-foot Alloy sailing yacht Marae, which has a VIP Flag, still has availability in Bermuda from June 11-15, which are the scheduled dates for the last qualifier races and the first couple of America’s Cup races.
The day rate to book Marae on these dates is $15,000. She is also available for one-week charters at a base rate of $65,000, taking six guests in three staterooms.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Marae or help you book her for a front-row view of all the excitement of the America’s Cup racing in Bermuda.
