    Charter Chef Shares Recipes

    Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald newspaper posted this article in December 2008 about the chef of a charter yacht that plies the waters between Scotland and Norway’s fjords. The story talks about the chef’s new cookbook and gives a couple of recipes, including a Bouillabaise the chef calls “Show Some Mussel.”

    Historic Yacht Goes Whale-Watching

    The San Diego Union Tribune newspaper posted this article in December 2008 about the historic racing schooner America, which is apparently taking a three-month break from offering regular charters so that she can ferry day-trip passengers to the gray whale-watching grounds along the California coast. It’s migration season until March.

    Adventure Charter: Chile to Cape Horn

    Britain’s Practical Boat Owner magazine published this story and video in December 2008 about a four-week adventure charter from Chile to Cape Horn. They worked with a company called Blizzard Expeditions, which is new to the CharterWave team as a charter company, but which does have an interesting website of its own.
