Regency Yacht Charters is closing out the week with news of a deal aboard the 62-foot Leopard sailing catamaran The Big Dog for Virgin Islands yacht charter.
The Big Dog has a hole in her calendar between bookings and would like to fill it with some clients. That’s why the regular weekly base rate is being reduced by 15 percent from January 17-24.
Charter Yacht The Big Dog
Regularly, the weekly rate to charter The Big Dog ranges from $20,900 to $24,900, for two to eight guests. With the 15-percent price break, that range drops to $17,765 to $21,165. (With eight guests aboard, that reduced rate is just $2,645 per person and includes all meals as well as ship’s bar.)
The Big Dog is a 2002 build that has four queen-bed ensuite staterooms, making her layout ideal for a quartet of couples who want to charter together and split the bill. The yacht operates year-round in the Virgin Islands with occasional forays into the more southern Caribbean islands.
The yacht is run by Denise Stewart and Frank Fox, who previously ran the 58-foot sailing catamaran Ocean Jedi. Stewart and Fox are both licensed captains and scuba instructors, so The Big Dog offers scuba charters too.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about The Big Dog or help you book her with the 15-percent discount for a weeklong charter in the British Virgin Islands from July 10-23.
