10 Best Charter Yacht Client Reviews

These charter yachts have earned high praise from previous clients

Charter broker Missy Johnston of Northrop and Johnson Worldwide Yacht Charters sends three client reviews this week. The first is for the 88-foot Rayburn motoryacht Lady Victoria: “From the first day on to the last, every minute was memorable. The yacht was true to its name in every way. I had a friend on who also has a boat in Hong Kong that is about the same size, and could not believe how well thought-out the layout was. Nothing was ever a problem for the crew, they went out of  their way to make sure our every need was taken care of. We also had the opportunity to have some friends come aboard for cocktail and dinner cruises, and they had a fantastic time also. The cooking was gourmet quality and beautifully presented. The owner of Lady Victoria is a very fortunate man to have been able to put together such a wonderful crew.  I only hope we can do another cruise in the near future.  Thanks for a great vacation.”

Second this week from Northrop and Johnson Worldwide Yacht Charters is this client review of the 164-foot Phinisi sailing yacht Silolona: “Another wonderful, wonderful trip on Sililona!  I do not know how that crew does such an extraordinary job week after week after week! They just never fail to be the best crew—each and every one of them. I thought we were all going to burst into tears at the end. A few of us did quietly. It was fabulous to be back with everyone again and we loved every minute.  A million thanks from all of us for finding this fabulous, incredible boat which has given each of us so many special memories and introduced us to the so many incredible, wonderful people we love on board her!”

Third this week from Northrop and Johnson Worldwide Yacht Charters is this client review of the 49-foot sailing catamaran Naej: “I cannot praise the crew enough. They were better than I ever could have imagined. Perrine is the best chef, coming up with the most creative and healthy recipes day after day, with not a bad meal ever. She is an intuitive cook, one who truly ‘gets’ what her guests want. If we could have brought her home, we would have. Capt. Aubrey was so flexible, and cared for us and our safety at all times. He is a pleasure to be around. Never a harsh word, and always competent. As for the Naej, there again I was pleasantly surprised. After the previous charter on the 57-foot catamaran, I did not know how we would like the smaller 49-foot boat. But it was fine. It had enough space for the four of us, and although the cabins are not identical, all three were totally equal.”

CharterWorld sends two client reviews this week. First is from a charter booked by broker Reia Stannard aboard the 124-foot Ocean Pacifico motoryacht Callista: “Our charter has come to an end and we are all so sad! We had a great time and most definitely want to do another in the coming year. We had a great staff—super professional and trustworthy. Capt. Monty was most helpful, and everyone onboard did their best to entertain and serve us. We also had a great chef and we found that most of the time we dined in. We found that the Callista was a great choice for the number of people that we were, the rooms spacious and everything just to our needs.”

Also this week from CharterWorld is this client review of a charter booked by broker Trina Howes aboard the 59-foot sailing catamaran Jeri: “What a wonderful vacation we had! The boat was maintained impeccably and suited our needs perfectly. The spaciousness of the master cabin was unbelievable. What made this trip unique was how the crew catered to our every wish. How Sophie manages to turn out gourmet meals on a boat is amazing. Her cooking is superb, varied, and she always kept our dietary needs in mind. Capt. Alain was always willing to sail and in addition to taking us wherever we wanted to go, he often had good suggestions regarding beaches and snorkeling. He gladly accompanied us with the dingy to make my husband feel more at ease when the snorkeling was not near the boat. He was happy to ‘talk sailing’ with my husband and to explain some of the boat’s systems to him. Both Sophie and Alaine were warm and likeable and we enjoyed just visiting with them. We highly recommend Jeri and her crew to anyone who wants a five-star sailing adventure.”

Charter broker Diana Brody at Camper and Nicholsons International received this review from a client who chartered the 70-foot Matrix sailing catamaran Akasha: “’Thank you so very much for the perfect trip! We will make this a tradition as long as the four crew are aboard Akasha. The areas and coves they took us to were beautiful, and the snorkeling and scuba diving … amazing! The food was out of this world and I still think the chef should try out for ‘Top Chef’! Thank you for everything. See you next year!”

Camper and Nicholsons International management received this client review after a charter aboard the 112-foot Westport motoryacht Symphony II: “I am again replaying the incredible DVD that the crew composed that simply captures highlights of another incredible voyage with the crew of Symphony II! Please ask they share it with the owners. They will appreciate the moments of joy and know how much we appreciate all of them for again making our trip so very special! The experience and the accommodations were exceptional in all respects! To the owners: Congrats for keeping such an exceptional crew and incredibly maintained yacht. It has a sense of true TLC. The memorable moments we will cherish forever!”

Fraser Yachts Worldwide had clients give this feedback following a charter aboard the 87-foot Cantieri di Pisa motoryacht Elena B: “The best and simply the best! Professional, happy crew, and all the fun we could stand. Bravo! The crew are highly attentive, courteous, and professional. The captain is cool, calm, and reassuring. I have chartered boats for the last 20 years, and this was by far the best charter that I ever had.”

YCO Yacht sends two client reviews this week. First is for the 220-foot Alloy sailing yacht Vertigo: “I can quite honestly say that in the last 10 years of my chartering career, the Vertigo experience was easily my best, from the magnificence of the yacht to the outstanding and friendly service of the crew. In fact I will go so far as to say that the service was probably the best I have encountered anywhere in the world. I would certainly recommend the experience to anyone. The chef was frankly magnificent! He is a very talented chef for whom difficult eating habits of the guests was no problem. Vertigo is far better in reality than any of the pictures do her credit. It’s a very difficult boat to photograph, but when you get to see her in the Med you will be mesmerized by her beauty and the quality of her finish. The build team at Alloy certainly have raised the bar a whole lot higher for the rest!”

Also from YCO Yacht comes this short but sweet client review of the 147-foot Aquos motoryacht Big Fish: “The charter was wonderful! We really enjoyed Capt. Winston and his crew! They were amazing and made the trip very enjoyable.”
