Yacht-Zoo tells me that one of my all-time favorite sailing yachts, the 209-foot Perini Navi Felicita West, has availability for charters this summer in Norway and the Baltic Sea.
The Norwegian fjords are of course one possible itinerary that charter guests can enjoy (and that I highly recommend, having chartered there in 2009). Others include Sweden, Finland, the Aland islands between those two nations, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Denmark, and the island of Gotland, These are charter destinations that rarely are offered by any yachts, let alone one of Felicita West‘s size and elegance.
Felicita West is a 2003 build that was most recently refit in 2008. I was most recently on board Felicita West way back in 2006, but to this day, she remains one of my absolute top picks for design and decor.
Her interior styling is by Nuvolari and Lenard, making her not only spacious but also rather contemporary, even by 2013 standards. She accommodates as many as 12 guests in five cabins. Three of the cabins have double beds while the remaining two cabins have twin beds plus bunk-style Pullman berths.
There’s no need to worry about being out of touch in remote destinations, either. Felicita West has satellite-supported communications for telephone, fax, and Internet.
The lowest weekly base rate is €165,000 to charter Felicita West this summer in Norway and the Baltic Sea. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week onboard.
