The 203-foot Holland Jachtbouw sailing yacht Athos has a FIB–a flying inflatable boat. Charter guests who have pilot’s licenses can operate it by themselves, or a crew member can take up one guest at a time. It can climb as high as 10,000 feet into the sky.
The 155-foot Christensen motoryacht One More Toy has a 31-foot Jupiter tender that is towed behind the “mother ship.” It’s a big, comfortable center console that is ideal for day trips, snorkeling excursions, fishing, and more.
The 145-foot Pendennis sailing catamaran Hemisphere has, count ’em, five Sea Doo underwater scooters in addition to a pair of Seabobs, which also are motorized toys that let guests explore beneath the ocean’s surface.
The 161-foot Feadship motoryacht Teleost just got a new water slide. It’s an inflatable slide that connects to the yacht’s sundeck and lets guests slide all the way down into the ocean.
The 191-foot Proteksan-Turquoise motoryacht Baraka has a half-dozen clear-bottom kayaks. Most charter yachts, if they have them at all, only carry one or two of these great toys. They let guests see reefs and fish without actually getting into the water.
The 205-foot Icon motoryacht Baton Rouge offers an air chair that can be pulled behind one of the yacht’s tenders. It’s kind of like being on water skis, if water skis were made out of lounge chairs that fly instead of riding on the water’s surface.
The 193-foot Austal motoryacht Idol has two sit-down Wave Runners plus a stand-up Jet Ski, so guests can choose which kind of personal watercraft they want to play with on any given day.
The 130-foot Westport motoryacht Mary Alice II tows a 34-foot Regulator center console as a tender. It’s a great amenity for charters in the Bahamas, where the waters are shallow and larger yachts cannot go.
The 172-foot Halter Marine motoryacht SuRi offers charter guests a hovercraft. She’s one of the only charter yachts in the world with this type of toy onboard.
The 163-foot Picchiotti motoryacht Exuma has an amphibious Jeep that, it’s believed, is the only one of its kind in yacht charter. It allows guests to go straight from the water onto land during excursions from the yacht.
