Fraser Yachts Worldwide says the 163-foot Picchiotti motoryacht Exuma has some of the coolest tenders in the entire charter industry. They include a hovercraft as well as an amphibious Jeep.
Camper and Nicholsons International says the new tender to the 134-foot SWATH boat Silver Cloud is also pretty darn cool. It’s a 39-foot Intrepid with its own gyro stabilizer system, plus an air conditioned cabin.
Ocean Independence tells us the 140-foot Cantieri di Pisa motoryacht Element comes with multiple tenders including a 32-foot Mercury Verado.
Charter broker Gina Robertson of Yachtstore sends us three recommendations this week. First is for the 208-foot expedition motoryacht SuRi, whose array of tenders includes a 30-foot mahogany speedster, a hovercraft, and a seaplane.
Gina Robertson at Yachtstore also likes the tender to the 147-foot Intermarine motoryacht Lady M, which offers charter clients a 44-foot Riva.
Last this week from Gina Robertson at Yachtstore is a recommendation for the 281-foot Derecktor motoryacht Cakewalk, whose tenders include a 45-foot custom Vikal Limousine tender designed by megayacht designer Tim Heywood.
CharterWave editor Kim Kavin has a few recommendations this week as well. First is for the custom tender to the 147-foot Aquos motoryacht Big Fish: “They call this tender Triple Ripple, and I thought it was just awesome for diving, snorkeling, and fishing when I was onboard in the Society Islands. One of the best custom tenders I’ve ever seen.”
Kim also likes the array of tenders aboard the 164-foot Proteksan-Turquoise motoryacht Odessa: “In addition to motorized tenders, Odessa carries a Laser sailing dinghy. They are absolutely fantastic for beginner sailors, including kids, and make for a great deal of fun in a protected bay or harbor.”
Another great that Kim has seen is the Regal ski boat that comes with charters aboard the 118-foot Amstel sailing yacht Sunny Hill: “Regal makes proper ski boats, not fishing boats or diving boats that can also be used for water skiing. It’s unusual to see a Regal on a charter yacht anywhere in the world.”
Last but not least on Kim’s list is the 145-foot Pendennis sailing catamaran Hemisphere, which has a stunning, 54-foot F&S sportfishing tender: “I saw that tender in harbor recently in the Virgin Islands, and it was nicer than most of the larger yachts in the area. Truly a head-turner.”
